new PC, games unstable

I have stress tested with prime 95 and 3D mark, no problems
Also did the Furmark GPU test , again no problems

Games on the other hand are crashing back to desktop

Elite dangerous for example, running Ultra quality on 1440p @ 165Hz
2 mins in, crash

not sure if i should post this in hardware section or here, but like i said, stress testing seems fine

specs:

7600X (AM5)
2x 16Gb Corsair Vengeance EXPO 6000
Radeon 5700 XT
m.2 ssd
1000W PSU (brand new phantecks Pro)

windows 10 64

Can you run the memory one stick at a time to test? Less likely to be one or an incompatibility between them than two sticks being faulty.

Depends on how sure you are, that you saw artifacting whilst every thing at stock settings

If that's a case, then you'd probably only have a chip that has a weak imc and unable to run ddr6000, rather than a defective chip

Set EXPO, then change it to 5600 but leave other values and test.

Do a memory test with something like MemTest86, Aida64 also has a memory test as well as a cache test.
