Do they not have calculators? I remember one behind the scenes article saying they rushed candidates to try and force as many mistakes out of them. Like they stopped the main team communicating with the sub team, so any errors were locked in.

Karen told the girls about the fish error, so presumably they couldn't change it after. Karen can't "interfere", but she'll happily bait them with bad news for good TV.

I'm a firm believer that edits are done to make them look as stupid as possible. The alternative is that the candidates don't watch the show before applying, and nobody wanted to be team leader for the 1st task, knowing that they usually go home.
 
Contestants as stupid as ever, tasks more or less the same and predictable as ever. Still essential viewing though :D

I normally only watch the main show and then also watch the you're fired followups later in the season once I know(hate) the contestants a bit more!

That's two weeks on the trot he's fired the best one of the three.


Also the second year on the trot someone has voluntarily left, my spidey senses are tingling.

Difference is a few years ago they changed the format and Lord Sugar knows what their business proposals are and you quite often notice strange decisions by him where he keeps somebody in who should be sacked and gets rid of somebody who shouldn't be. I bet thats because he hated their business idea.

I wish they’d end the pretence of them having half an hour to get ready.
 
They're a bit uglier this year. I know it's not Love Island, but the girl with the double chins and lip filler wouldn't have been on an older series. Really fits the diversity and inclusion theme of this task that they added so many plus-size models and faces fit for radio.


And as usual, the team that looked the best during the task, lost.
 
If people like this are the future of UK business then the sooner a meteor wipes us out the better. Idiocracy was a bloody documentary.
 
One of the teams could have bought the record for £2 then gone and sat on the beach for the rest of the day. They’d have had eight fines at fifty quid each and a total spend of £402 and won.

Though you got a £50 fine plus the expected price of the object you didnt buy as well? You certainly used to in older series I am sure. otherwise, like you have just said, basically going out and buying the cheapest items on the list would more often than not make you win and there would be never any point in paying more than £50 for any single item like the wig?

I think 10 years ago, being honest would be refreshing, like a triple firing. But now it's expected, so it can go either way.

Sorry absolute clown show , wouldn’t give any of these a job sweeping floors at my compan. They really have scraped the bottom of the barrel with this year’s candidates.

That being said Victoria outfit was very nice :D

im wondering if its getting so bad it must be doing the opposite of its intended purpose (to inspire young people to become entrepreneurs?)

must be putting people off now? alan shugs must be like "whats the point this is ****"

i made a better logo than that zafzaf one or whatever in 1994 using harvard graphics for a year 3 school project
