RX6700XT v RX6750XT v RTX3060Ti

In my recent search for one i stumbled across it, just a heads up as its not immediately obvious, its a US import, Import taxes are included with that price and paid by the seller.

Yeah I noticed that. A little bit of a wait but atleast no additional costs to worry about and cheaper than anywhere I can see in the UK. Could be an issue returning it though if you had a fault. As i said though there doesn't seen to be a water block available for it so that rules me out.

Right its the warranty shenanigans that worries me...

Its a ****** time in the gpu market, old mid-range cards still going for £450.

Anyone saying "wait for the 4060ti" is also in dreamland, this is going to be priced at £650 with likely still worse performance than the rtx 3070ti. Nividia wont even release the 4060ti if there is still significant 3060ti stock at retailers anyway,

What I hate about the gpu market is once youve decided on a model to go with ( say rx6700 xt ) you STILL have to research all the partner brands to find one with decent cooling and low noise. Then when you find a good model its £75-£100 above the entry level brands, and at that point your almost at the next step up from rx6700 xt, the rx6800.

It's going to be an old low end card priced at £700, another cut down POS like the 4070ti.

This gen is an absolute disgrace.

3060ti if you want 2018's VRAM.
Vram is irrelevavnt, it could have 500 megabytes for all I care. Performance is what matters.

Most recent review from tpup, the 8gb 3070ti has the same relative performance at both 1440p and 4k compared to the 16gb 6800. That vram obviously does wonders :D

Nonsense, it matters when you run out of it, everyone knows that.

:D

Are you now involving yourself in this just because its been an ongoing argument for more than 2 years and seems to be fizzling out because its about settled at this point that yes it can be a problem.

What do you hope to achieve at this point?

well, im on a 3070ti and may be limited, But with the performance im getting, (1440p and 4k) i have nothing to complain about, will do me fine until I decide to upgrade in the future.

That's a very reasonable thing to say, would you be dismissive of other peoples experiences and advise they be ignored? Don't listen just buy it...

Oh... don't worry, all i'm looking for is some reassurance from someone who seems to me quite rational....
