The tester's shoes are completely worn out and he's still wearing them, so it's probably the same mindset with the tyres he checks.

The thread we didn't have last year?I put a selfie pic in that last year, got a 2 month ban.
While you’re at it, teach her the importance of basic car checks.
Oh well, the tyres have been replaced now.If you do decide to report the garage, then you cannot replace the tyre's as the inspector will want to see the car as it was presented to the tester.
It's a proper advisory and has been for a while.out of interest how is "cracking or perishing" coming under an advisory. I have no idea how the report system works are they drop downs or free text ?

one of those things everyone should know surely? It’s part of driving test.. part of driving lessons. So what happened, why did she forget it? I’m not a party pooper but tyres getting to that state means she was driving on illegal/bald tyre for a long time. Screen wash is one thing bald tyre going pop on the motorway etc is way worse.the obligatory "i bet you're fun at parties" post...

Far too many people rely on MOT tests as a condition check and indicator of what needs replaced.I'm sure some people think cars are sealed for life units. Just put fuel in and go.
