There aren’t enough laps. The lap to the grid would mean the race finishes when they cross the line 5m infront of verstappen.

I think you’ll find race control caused this mess by just not ending the race instead of throwing the second red flag.

Not that simple - by your method they would do 1 more lap than the 58 distance

After AD 2021, We all wanted this situation - a red flag and restart with a few laps remaining.

However, this restart scenario with all drivers on softs, low fuel and a few laps left creates a situation the same as online sim racing open lobbies - chaos !
