Solar panel production figures

Unbelievable, its like they asked Welshman where to divert the blue tomorrow if they predict correctly. Swirls past wales dumping the rain my way!

Wondering if we were allowed to add our own panels and inverter?

I have around 7*400w panels sitting in my alleyway they couldn't install.
I have a partial flat roof to front of house and wondered if I could get that turned into a pointy roof and the panels installed.
Fortunately when they installed the rear panels (6 panels in buckets ) they had to make a join in the solar cables on my roof..so it looks like it'll be easy to move the rear array to a new inverter.

@qbhatti I've replied in the correct thread for those sort of questions

Rubbish yesterday with only 6.7kWh generated. Today is not much better at the moment with about 240Wh.

On the plus side, I finally got my export MPAN and it was backdated to the end of Feb when I applied. Now to ditch EDF and get on Octopus (if they ever respond to my query that is).

Twitter DM them or phone them, emails for me just go into a blackhole.

Ive emailed them more than once recently, no reply. Almost as bad as my current energy supplier who never reply but always manage to email you the latest bill ;)

Yes it's why I said twitter DM them (usually reply within a couple of hours or so) or phone them, email to them isn't great.

I don't use Twitter routinely but handy for contacting places like Octopus where the Twitter DM system actually works pretty well for discussing issues, kind of like delayed live chat.

Yep with Hippo here
Octopus used to be good on email response but recently (probs since bulb realistically) its a bit of a black hole
Unless its super urgent, in which case phone; Twitter DM > Phone > email
I can't complain about the service I had getting onto octopus Flux on Thursday. that included a phone call finding out why I was on Flux import but not export. it was sorted an HR or so later as well despite being told it could take a few weeks
