The 'choke' was the nonsense red, the second was fully deserved, as I said at the time!If you mean the red over the ball it isnt a nonsense red. Hes just late to the tackle more often then not and should have seen another red this week.

He’s a big boy he should be able to take it on the chin. No point dwelling on a past event. The 'choke' was the nonsense red, the second was fully deserved, as I said at the time!
I don't disagree. But he's not played the same since. He's been utter pants the last few games, giving the ball away as much as Fred on a bad day. He’s a big boy he should be able to take it on the chin. No point dwelling on a past event.
Well it was only with various replays did we establish it wasnt quite a choke. Even so, you raise you hands like that then you cant be surprised to see a red come your way. If we were talking about a kid id get your argument but he isnt. The 'choke' was the nonsense red, the second was fully deserved, as I said at the time!
Is that not also a reflection of how the team has preformed as a whole though. No one is ripping up trees at the minute.I don't disagree. But he's not played the same since. He's been utter pants the last few games, giving the ball away as much as Fred on a bad day.
After a brief interlude under ten Hag we have resumed the form that saw Solskjaer sacked and Rangnick humiliated. All of which leaves you to ponder where the malignancy is in the team. Ronaldo removed, Maguire benched but still really a lack of leadership from enough players. No doubt we are a better side with Martinez. He adds a lot to the team - remember the high fives, chest bumps and back slapping when we defended our goal. None of that in evidence now. Then there is the conundrum that is Fernandes. Our best player, the captain but the high risk player who cedes possession, invites pressure and is unbounded selfish in the final third.Another woeful performance against West Ham - players looks like their coasting to the end of the season at the moment. Very disjointed, passing is poor, no urgency in the play/pass.
On a positive - I think ETH is seeing who's up for it and who's not - Lots of dead wood still in that squad that need cleared out.
Wouldn't be sad to see the back of Sancho, and Martial who I thought showed signs he was going to be decent when he joined us, not sure ETH can get anymore out of him. Really need a clinical striker. After a brief interlude under ten Hag we have resumed the form that saw Solskjaer sacked and Rangnick humiliated. I still think we have too many players that mentally aren't strong enough, hungry enough to warrant a place in what a successful United side will look like. Sancho, Martial, Fred can all leave along with Wan Bissaka, Williams, Maguire. I'd pay £60m for a player like Caicedo who could be the nucleus of a team for a decade. Add to that a relegated Ward Prowse or Teilemans, give Garnacho, Diallo, Pellestri a few more games and break the bank for a genuine number 9 - Kane would do albeit he's too old for the money but at least you know he has the attitude to win.
So much to do for ten Hag and thats without replacing the keeper.
Dortmund might buy Sancho back with the Bellingham cash
Crazy to say Luke Shaw isn't good enough. I think we've seen since losing him for left back how important he is there, and on top of that he's great cover at CB too.
From who? He'll be on £200k+ per week at Utd - who will want him that would be willing or able to get close to that sort of contract?Reckon we could get 40-50m for him perhaps. Hes still a very good player, hes just not in the right team so unless we become that team he will struggle.

It's easy to say he's worth x or y but you have to ask who is going to buy him. He'd be great at a Spurs or Dortmund type club but they won't pay him anything like what Utd are paying him. I say it time and time again both re Utd and Liverpool but when they buy a player and it doesn't work out, it's incredibly difficult to move them on because the only clubs that will take their rejects, cannot afford to pay the wages they're on.

£40m is nothing in the current market so wages of £200k/week aren't exactly crazy high. Sancho in the right team is top class and hes only 23. I don't know who would buy him but I don't think that figure is at all unrealistic.
