It's too hot :(

Horrendous. I have a small air circulator fan I bought after last year, but it feels like it's making naff all difference. ~26c downstairs, coming close to 28c in my front bedroom. The fan is downstairs trying to blow some cooler air upstairs. My WFH/PC room must be 30c at least right now. Windows are closed and curtains have been drawn all day.

BBC Weather says 23C and high chance of rain..

My PWS says 30C:

Yeah it's horrific. Feels like an oven door open but on your whole body, all the time.

Ended up conking out around 02:00 due to the heat, thank God i'm in hotels all week this week.

It's 26 in my office. I'm still in tracksuit bottoms. But I do have the window open.

Come home to 25ºC in the PC room 24ºC in the main bedroom too. Overnight temps will barely dip below 19C so even with a windows open night (letting in all the noise and pollen) it's going to be uncomfortable

The sun must be really strong, it’s 29.9c in my home office room (West facing) but it’s only about 21c outside here in the North East.

Doesn’t need to be 40c for aircon to be useful. Even when it’s low-20’s and muggy, it makes it so nice.

Some big storms near us but I didn’t see any. Some shops and schools have had to close from storm damage.

people need to star equipping houses for consequences of global warming - don't need expensive A/C just wooden shutters that reduce radiation into the house, and provide cooling options with larger windows they cover opened.
