Anybody point me towards a shredder that doesn't **** the bed after 10 pages

That was the debate we was just having, whats the point of paying £250/300 if we only smash big piles of paper every couple of years and a few here and there in between.Buy cheap buy twice with a shredder.
We ordered an LX65 Fellowes, will report back when we've have had chance to smash it!
You can lead a horse to water....."RUNTIME - The LX65 paper shredder will shred non-stop for up to 6 minutes before requiring a 20 minute cool down period, meeting the demand for occasional use in the home office"
A mere Padawan of a shredder compared to the 79Ci
I'm sure it will be great though
I keep mine oiled with standard 3-in-1 oil each time I empty the bin. I find it easy enough to coat both sides of a sheet of paper with oil and run it through.
They have those where I work tooWe have this one at work:
Expensive, but honestly was worth every penny - shreds continuously, and does ID Cards, CDs and anything else you care to put near it.
Not had a jam in the 3 years or so that we've had it - and used almost daily.
For a more budget friendly option (£84.99) though, I bought this one for home
It's worked fine for shredding big piles of documents, envelopes, and the like, although the Automatic mode has never worked since I got - but not an issue for home, as I'm normally batch shredding.
I used to have that same shredder before my Fellows. I think the autofeed on mine broke after many years, so I just bought a Fellowes. The first thing I noticed was how quiet the Fellows sounded in comparison to the Rexel.I have a Rexel Maxima which has been with me for 10+ years and never let me down. Even put my credit/debit cards through it and it munches them.
Autofeed still works as well.
