Hey all I recently decided to build myself a new pc, but when I enabled expo profile for my ram it’s been horrendously slow to start up, it just took 1.57 to get to the windows screen, has anyone else encountered this issue and found a solution? I’m new to the pc world so Aren’t very tech competent yet, my cpu is 7800x3d gpu is 7900xtx mobo is msi b650 tomahawk and the ram is ddr5 Corsair vengeance 5600.
Any help would be appreciated

Thats normal for Ryzen at the moment, if you have a post code reader on your motherboard, you'll see that it gets stuck on 15 for quite some time, its memory training, you can enable memory content restore and power down enabled to enabled as youre using XMP / EXPO which will speed it up quite a lot, without power down set to enabled, you'll get BSODs, you should find them both in your ram timing / settings page in the bios, first boot will take ages still whilst it re-trains, after that it will be quick.

Bios > F7 (advanced Settings) > OC Menu > Memory Contrent Restore set to enabled
Bios > F7 (advanced settings) > OC Menu > Advanced DRAM Config > Power Down Enabled to Enabled
Save and Exit

Thankyou for the help, I’ll give it a go tomorrow, it’s not a massive issue for me I only turn the pc on once so it’s not having a massive impact, just didn’t want it to be caused by a more serious issue caused by myself when I built it
