Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [11th - 14th August 2023]

Hes on a hattrick in his first game of the season, and has no adjustment period this time round. He’s beating Last season.
He scored lots of braces last season, he also started fast last season too. There was no adjustment period. 10 in his first 6 games and 14 in his first 9. If he beats that with the players that have left I will be surprised. 36 is a hell of a tally to beat.

If he stays fit can’t see Citeh not winning the league.

Since I fell asleep was there much sign of the increased ceiling in player contact before it becomes a foul?

I know nothing about how player prepare during the hours before kickoff, but would a 30 min delay have any effect on them? I would imagine, they would eat at a certain time before a match with certain nutrients etc that will see them through the match but having that get used up for an extra 30 mins before a game would leave them short for the end of the match? Like I said, I know bugger all about ti, just thinking.

Edit: Rio just talked about it. Seems it will have some effect and may have to eat some more before kick off

This is getting worse. Hearing now that engineers are being called out and if it’s not fixed by 2pm, the game is off and we may well have to forfeit. Absolutely shocking!

why call off the game? pretty sure players can still kick a ball with less fans. Hmm pretty sure they did a couple of years ago.
