Interesting angle on some of United's difficulties in moving players on and how it relates to the Premier League's homegrown rules. Rumour is that the sales of Maguire and McTominay were affected by the rule and resulted in United demanding higher transfer fees as replacing them with non homegrown players was not really an option. SOrt of makes sense but really only goes to show what a poorly run club we are. After all, the rules are the same for all. It may also be why Mainoo got some pitch time and may have featured.

ten Hag was pretty defensive at the press conference today. Evasive on who would be fit for selection but clear on the Sancho situation which I am 100% behind him on. Ball is in Sancho's court but until he tows the line he aint in the squad. Burnley on Saturday - not sure if we can win but hope for a better performance!!

Even if he apologies to ETH, he shouldn't be anywhere near the first team again. Attitude stinks, he was playing FIFA when the Bayern game was on supposedly. Like, what? Baffling.

Of all the things you can criticise him for, I'm not sure this really registers at all. If he's not in the squad, then he's presumably free to do what he wants during the Bayern game.
 
Bit of discontent in the dressing room too it appears, if the rumours/leaks are true. Who the **** would want anything to do with the club currently. A toxic mess of a place it seems.

I honestly believe half of this is fake news. None of it is verified. Andy Tate spoke a lot of sense in a video after the Bayern game on the Stretford Paddock. Fans wanting ETH out are just stupid and places like Sky are just churning out rubbish for clicks.

Even the presser for the Burnley game they were asking him to verify all these "rumours" so none of it is substantiated.

No, show your face, you're paid £350k a week for a reason, grow the **** up. It's a team sport.

Normally I'd agree with you (to some extent) but given the situation he should be trying a lot harder.

Btw all the 'leaks' of Sancho playing Fifa that I saw were from an hour before kick off. He could have still watched the game.

That being said div0 is right, he's not selected in the match squad he can do what the **** he wants with his free time, it's none of our business.

No, disagree. If you're fighting to get back into the team and want to make a good impression, if you care, if you want to show your support... then you go along. Seriously??

Go along? He wasn't invited! **** me you expect him to go and buy a ticket and sit in the crowd with people who are going to abuse him?

As it stand he's not fighting to get back in the team. It's clear that ETH won't consider him until he apologises and he hasn't. There is no fighting.

It appears Sancho has deactivated his Instagram account. I wonder if that whats hes been told to do by his friends/family/agent/lawyer. Or is it a case of hes been getting a **** ton of abuse on it and the notifications are interrupting his FIFA game?
 
The end title music from Curb Your Enthusiasm played out at the end of a game would probably quite appropriate for Man Utd games at the moment.
