Why do so many pro-Israel posters keep insisting that Hamas = all Palestinians living in Gaza, and that the two are interchangeable?

Exactly. I can condemn Hamas and their actions but I can logically conclude not all Palestinians are legitimate targets.
I hope Israel does wipe Hamas out, but I also don’t believe they should conduct indiscriminate bombing attacks on civilians to achieve it. I also won’t paint the Israelis as always being the good guys (or the bad guys).
I grew up in Nationalist West Belfast for the entirety of the troubles, but I never once supported the IRA and their atrocities. I am a nationalist, so have the same aims as the IRA but I would never advocate violence to achieve those aims. So it is easy for me to know that painting ALL Palestinians as Hamas will lead to this all getting worse, not better.

I don't think anyone here is saying bomb civilians. That'd be a bit of a contradiction if they are outraged at the terrorists murdering civilians, no?

I know you have to be careful with the media rush to publish first, question later, but balanced against all the already confirmed atrocities it is more than likely true.
@IsraelWarRoom have posted pictures on their Twitter feed of the bodies of children burned alive by Hamas - just in case the doubters in the thread are still questioning whether these atrocities have taken place or not.
Some of them are home made rockets using building supplies, etc., some are assembled within Gaza from component parts more easily smuggled in, though they also seem to be getting supplies of fully assembled rockets.
Nobody with any sense is doubting these atrocities took place and I hope those responsible are punished. But Israel indiscriminately bombing Gaza is not justified.
I know the Old Testament advocates an eye for an eye but that concept is so outdated.

It won’t be indiscriminate, but equally Israel won’t give a crap about human shields. Hamas better run to Iran because they won’t be safe anywhere else. Even Iran might want to think twice about this one.

Twinz was talking about hamas...you know the government...the ones who get money of the populace to bribe or build tunnels to get items inside the strip, which seem to consist of rockets/guns and paragliders.
Didn't mention anything about Palestinians = all Hamas?

Sadly we don’t know the true number, but there must be a fair few to control 2 million people and to pull this off.

There are YouTube channels streaming live from Ashkelon and some from Gaza. You can see it all on there.
Was some rockets fired about 20 minutes ago or so but looked like they were all intercepted, been quiet since then mostly.
OK, let me spell it out for you.
Hamas received the rockets, not Palestinians living in Gaza.
Palestinians in Gaza need the food, which won't get through the latest blockade.
Does that help?
Is it feasible that a terrorist organisation doing illegal stuff is able to form illegal methods of smuggling illegal goods in through a blockade whereas the law-abiding citizens of Gaza Strip don't have those avenues available to, you know, bring in food?
