That must be with the standard range model. I haven’t seen less than 3 mpkwh in any condition yet, summer was about 3.7 and it’s about 3.3 in the current temps.
Matrix lights and HUD were standard on MY21 HSEI already have a charger and the cars above don't have matrix lights, HUD etc but I'll keep looking
I do at least 2 x trips of 250 miles per month down to see my Dad hence my range anxiety, both the Tesla and Polestar would do those on 1 charge.
A lot of people still optioned 20" wheels even without the 'PP'Yeah I think I mentioned I'm not going for the Perf Pack.
I really like the look of the ipace but the recharging rate is putting me right off! Its range isn’t the greatest meaning that an in trip recharge would be more likely but pretty much impossible with such a low charging rate.
This looks pretty nice spec

Gravitating towards a Polestar2 with all the packs but tricky to find one that’s still in manufacturers warranty (2021) is tricky!

Charge speed makes a big difference IMO.
In a fast charging car with 800v architecture, If you turn up and there is a rapid charger available (i'm talking 350kw) then you can be away in 15-20 minutes with 80% SOC
In something slow it will take double the time. 20 mins extra might not sound so bad
However, if you turn up and no chargers are available, then you have to wait for one for say, 30 mins, and then you still have to charge for 40 mins, that is a big delay.
You don't even need 350kw to be honest, 150kw is enough to 20-80% in 20 mins ish. Faster than that means your just blocking a charger with a full car in the typical pee/food stop.Charge speed makes a big difference IMO.

Having had the iPace and now have the Q8 with a much better charge curve the benefits are significant on a long journey. Not much else is better about the Q8 but the iPace's charge speed is frustratingly slow.Drive them all and stop comparing peak charging speeds is my advice. An Ev still has to be a car rather than an appliance that gets from a to b.
If you do stop to top up there’s not a huge diference by the time you committed to stopping and gone for a walk/food/wee. Plus you lose the time getting off the motorway anyway. Often sitting at 6ph will get you there faster by avoiding the need for a stop
As said though. You are never going to drive somewhere and park up at 5-10% until you use it again unless you have a guaranteed destination charge.
