Bit of a random question but, would you be interested in a MiSTer that could also be used as an original console upscaler all in one box? The only downside would be, you would have to swap out the SD card with another depending on usage.

Sounds interesting. The more scalers on the market the better.

Mister has a good scaler, the only thing it cant do currently is scale up to 4k - the mars will do that though so it should be the all in one scaler/all in one that would suit everyone.
This would allow you to scale 6th gen consoles too using a SCART input.

SCART in to the DE10-Nano and HDMI out

Also, would anyone be interested in a user port breakout similar to the audio tape input board, rather than having to buy an IO board just for SNAC etc

Sneak peek at something I've been working with Wizzo on...

How would the scaler work on the mister, ive been trying to wrap my head around it?

It’s a separate FPGA project that also runs on the DE10-Nano so you would need two SD cards, one with MiSTer installed and one with the scaler installed. The scaler has an add-on board that provides a SCART input connected to the DE10-Nano IO pins.

There might be a possibility to port the scaler project and build it as a core for the MiSTer.

If anyone is interested in getting one of Wizzo’s NFC scanners, someone in the UK are selling them as kit bundle with a USB cable and 10 NFC cards for £24.99

That's pretty cool. Can you choose which 10 games you want?

Still after a metal case for my Mister...

Yeah you program the cards using Wizzo’s remote app, he’s also just released native Android and iOS apps too.

From the app you just search/browse to the game, click on it and select write to nfc card and that’s it.
