Does anyone use any good cashback sites?

I came across one called cashback.co.uk where you have to complete many tasks to get cashback. Not sure its genuine though.

Normally cashback sites are for purchases, not for completing tasks. Quidco and Topcashback are the two largest players by some margin.

Task-based sites tend to offer really grim payouts, like £5 for several hours' work. If it's more than that, I wouldn't trust them. And if that's all they're paying I wouldn't bother.

Ain't you on like a billion pounds per hour or something??

Cash back credit card... you get cash back on everything you spend, there's some cards that will only give cash back with certain retailers or boosted cash back with certain retailers.

hotukdeals, a lot of the the people use some sort of cash back club..
honey, will look for automatic discount cards..
I use a work scheme to buy giftcards to pay for my food shopping, saved enough points for about £200 pounds of amazon vouchers.

far more effective than selling your time clicking on links, selling your info for the 0.00000001p per page of questions you answer.

For someone who bangs on about earning something like £120k pa you don't seem to have a clue when it comes to money and financials.

TopCashBack for me can earn £100+ for new contract (vouchers or cash) or booking holidays etc (usually bigger the purchase, more $$$).

TCB/Quidco have over 2k in total cashback from purchases over the years.

If you are looking to earn a little bit of extra cash check out r/beermoneyuk on Reddit for 'money-making opportunities'

I've made nearly 3k from Quidco over the past years, mainly from hotels.com bookings (travel a lot for work, or used to). Quidco normally gives about 10% on their bookings, can go up to 15%+ sometimes. When you're regularly booking 1k hotel stays, that quickly adds up.

I genuinely still do not understand how it works, and why they give so much back!

I remember these back in the day - rpoints was a nice one when I was a student, useful forum too.

You could quite easily make a decent 4 figure amount (or low 5 figures if you put a bit of effort into it) via card tarting, matched betting and casino bonus bagging.

Ironically even for people taking advantage of the casinos some of them then reverted to gamblers fallacy and would advocate for elaborate "systems" for exploiting the casino bonuses when playing blackjack - streaker systems etc. Which was all nonsense as each round was independent/online casinos shuffle the deck each time.
