Do you think that there is an element of punishment about these executions rather than just simply killing these people, wouldn't it be more humane to put them under general anesthetic and then do whatever it takes medically to end a life or do the horrendous crimes most have committed means its well deserved, both the wait and a (probably) nasty end ,what do i think ? probably punishment intended ,think i would need the facts of the crime, strength of the conviction to say if deserved or not

As deaths go it wouldn't be painful, he would just pass out from lack of oxygen.

Scary in the run up, absolutely but so would any pending execution be I suppose.

i would agree if 100 percent guilty and not some random red mist anger killing (unless i was related to the victim)

Yeah, I'm 110% only meaning fully proven wronguns.

If you wreck/abuse/someones life, especially a woman/child's/hurt/burgle or mug an old person and literally ruin their life/cause them to live in fear/be suicidal/damaged for the rest of their life, you need to be seriously damaged back, ideally over the entirety of your existence, no 'creature comforts' or yard time/sunlight/social interaction, other than someone raping them at night when locked up and in the showers :)

They should be made to live the most boring mentally destroyed life back, failing that do the Law Abiding Citizen, but let some smackhead get them hooked for a bit and loose the plot in jail getting raped by even wronger wronguns, making them feel like the victim and living in the same fear the wrongun made their innocent victim(s) feel...

As far as I'm aware, a big reason they've struggled with chemical / injection based methods of execution in the US is that all of the companies making those products tend to be in the medical trade, and are very reluctant to make a small amount of revenue from those products being used to kill people. So I can't imagine they'd be interested in selling anaesthetics for that purpose either.
 
I dont see a problem as long as enough evidence to wholly convict and not be inaccurate in any way. It sucks some of these people have served 10+ years before being executed, as all cannot be evil and some must be working towards a rehabbed life.

I remember reading the manufacturers do not want the negative attention towards their business for supplying the drugs to execute prisoners also.

I forgot that all elderly women/babies/women are roided up to the gills banging weights and doing mma/boxing 8-12 hours every day and built like Arnie...

No-one should have to go through it, but you're dreaming if you think most of these pathetic wronguns don't pick the easiest victims when they do it/if it's planned... I don't remember seeing a serial male rapist who targets 20 stone 6-7ft hench meatheads on roids in the news all my life...
