Executed by nitrogen gas

So let me put this to you - Is it possible that a man will be mentally/emotionally traumatised after being raped if he thought along the the same lines as you - "I'm a man, I should have been able to defend myself and prevent being raped.... But I didn't/couldn't"

The murderer was a really hard Rugby player who was feared by many an opponent.
He was brutally raped by four men and that started his epilepsy, blackouts and mental trauma.
The man he murdered was taking the pee out of him being raped and he went into one of his blackouts.

Extreme case you could argue quite easily the chap needs help and should also pay for his crime.

Not the same as Derek Bojangles gangland knife murderer....found guilty then in the next 24hrs cattle gun to the back of the head, wrapped in white cloth and used for the royal navy LMG training in the solant.

No appeals. no goodbyes just 24 hrs to know the last thing you will see is a grey wall with the words "dont be a dick" written on them.

Oh and Chain gangs, would love to see chain gangs back.

story you linked doesn't have all that other info in it. would need to see that too as it sounds like the just didn't buy his blackout claims.

The electrocution isn't too pleasant either

the prisoner’s eyeballs sometimes pop out and rest on [his] cheeks. The prisoner often defecates, urinates, and vomits blood and drool. The body turns bright red as its temperature rises, and the prisoner’s flesh swells and his skin stretches to the point of breaking. Sometimes the prisoner catches fire….Witnesses hear a loud and sustained sound like bacon frying, and the sickly sweet smell of burning flesh permeates the chamber.

Should have a plasma incinerator like Foundation..

I don't think I agree with execution at all. I think it does more harm than it solves.

My preference would be for anyone that would have recieved the death penalty to be locked in a cell, in full isolation with nothing more than basic nutritional.

Personally, if you aren't 100% certain nobody should be being sentenced to death. Even if there's the smallest amount of doubt.
You could argue if it's not perfect, don't have it.
i agree but that's not how it currently works.

you did yourself say 'don't want to be on death row don't murder anyone' but there are, as has been demonstrated over the years, plenty of folk on death row who didn't kill anyone.

Its really easy...
YOu kill the people that freely admit to their crimes (the nut jobs) or are caught red handed.
Everyone else you don't....

what about those nutjobs that confess to crimes they didn't commit?

edit: also, why would anyone then admit to the crime of murder when they know it will carry an automatic execution.

nothing really easy about it when it comes to ending a life, even 'legally'

You're not losing much really then are you.

There has to be a line. You cant just keep on what about this what about thatting.. I do understand what you're saying yes its not pretty.
indeed, but your line isn't the nice and easily definined line you think it is.

don't get me wrong, there are certain crimes and criminals who should be straight into the fertilizer mix but while the death penalty exisits it is vital that there are people 'what about this and what about thatting' to try to prevent innocent people going to their deaths.
