I would guess I've been playing 20-25 hours and I can't think of one time I've suspected someone was cheating? A few games with smurfs in, but not a silly amount. I'm also fine if someone wants to use the game type as TDM as that gives my team a better chance of winning.

Last game I just played before uninstalling, within literally 40 seconds of starting a round there was a team wipe and one player had 4 kills. Now, I see something like that and yes, it may be a really skilled player or they got lucky by finishing damaged players but it's more likely someone cheating. And that taints it for me. I don't want to play a game where any good player could potentially be cheating. It makes it unenjoyable.

Trust me, I've been on teams that have almost instant wiped. 
If you head in the direction of another team straight away, it's not inconceivable you get wiped. As I said, personally I don't think I've seen anyone that I've thought has been cheating. Yes, the occasional smurf owning everyone, but you can see they're just very good.
**EDIT** Also, there's 4 or 5 of us that play together from here now and I don't think anyone has yet said 'oh, there was this cheater we played against earlier...'

Here’s me getting 6 kills in the first 35 seconds of a round and wiping both teams in quick cash.
I have almost 40 hours in the game and have only come across someone cheating once and it was a full on rage hack / full wipe as soon as you spawn.
I definitely echo what @AndyCr15 said about the discord, I don’t think any of us have mentioned it at all. The other benefit of the Discord is being able to play with a group, it’s a lot more enjoyable playing in a party.

It's just one of a few things which make the game pretty unenjoyable fo me. Dealing with all the sprinting invisible light class instant deaths coming in a close second.
Maybe I just need to buy better guns then. No way do any of the guns I have lack recoil like that lewis gun in your video. I am a Billy no mates and rarely do I end up on a team that actually plays together. You using aim assist? Controller? because you were latching onto those other players.

They’ve implemented pretty strict SBMM or EOMM if you prefer. That will probably be affecting your experience somewhat.
Sure, that's the game though. It's fine if you don't like the game, but it's not really fair to it to say there's lots of cheating...
What guns are you using? For medium I really like the FCAR but you have to be accurate with the small mag. The AK is really good too. The Lewis gun is great for heavy but you do have to control recoil otherwise it wobbles away from you.
That clip was from PS5 (I play with a few work friends on console) - but I mainly play mouse and keyboard on PC for this game and am way more accurate / better on m&k compared to controller.

I've reported two teams for cheating, but out of the hundreds of matches I've played that's not bad. I actually find the troll snipers more consistently annoying than any suspected cheaters. Most games we've lost felt like we could've won them if we'd zigged instead of zagged and it's rare to get utterly stomped.
There's a lot of counters for lights - recon sense, sensor grenades, mines - the Heavy's flamethrower - they're deadly but super-fragile. In the games we've played there's no definitive 'meta' in team composition - for every L/L/L you'll see a M/M/M or a L/M/H etc. Individual skill and playing as a team is far more important than team composition.

Cheating is definitely on the rise thanks to reWASD but I suspect Embark will be all over it quick enough and upto now only spotted a couple of what I suspected were cheaters and I play most days.
Lights are a pain in the arse but they are brittle as hell and easy to kill once you clock them, playing with randoms is probably your undoing @Residem - Also if you head into tournaments lights aren't used all that often.

I wonder how they're going to deal with it. It looks like it's going to be a nightmare for any game that supports controller input and has aim assist so Apex, BF 2042, Warzone and regular MW3 multiplayer etc.
Potentially just immediately removing aim assist from PC versions as a temporary solution??

Shame really as reWASD is a great tool when used properly but as usual the few ruin it for the many.

Join the Ocuk finals discord and play with a team with comms. Much more fun and overall better chance of winning matches. Playing with random is always going to be luck of thr draw.
Last time I had two sniper team memebrs, didn't go well as expected!
Game is still fun but if they don't address the following the playerbase is going to continue to bleed.
- Nukes are still ridiculous and are getting to a stage where every team runs at least 1 heavy. Higher elo ranked is currently MMH or HHM.
- The heavy kit in general needs looking at. I can use a nuke (c4), RPG and take double shield (dome shield + Q shield) and not have to fire my actual weapon.
- Ranked matchmaking is weird. I can be in a team/lobby with players from Bronze to Diamond but I still lose / gain FP at the same rate. This is probably playerbase related and if there were more people playing it would be easier to restrict ranked levels.
- Buffing the damage on the GL for medium feels like they jumped the gun (no pun intended) a bit, additional damage plus screen shake. 'Dumb-fire' AOE weapons need to have drawbacks, the RPG for the heavy (as annoying as it is) will kill the person using it if they fire at your feet. The GL does not do this.
- Buffing the damage for the sentry turret means it goes from a control tool to a kill tool - especially in a mode that is centred around cashouts. This one is more opinion I think, it feels restrictive to enter an objective and have 4 turrets dealing 25hp damage to you every 2 seconds. I don't think it needs destroying, just reverting.
- The medium heal gun needs to overheat quicker, you get a long time with it.
- Map rotation is odd, some nights I play Vegas 7 times in a row and I swear Monaco is a rare luxury at this point.
- I don't play enough light to comment on the kit. It's still useless in ranked unless you're a very good player. You can put down serious damage but you die so quickly and have no utility for the team (outside of glitch grenades) that there really feels like no reason to pick light.
