I currently have a 1TB M2 (WD SN850) in my PS5 at the moment and have been eyeing up a 2TB as they're cheap now. Maybe a Samsung 980 Pro.

Sadly my 1TB is full but I have about 400GB on the console storage so I can shift some games over to that. I take it I'm better off deleting the remaining games and re-downloading them once I've installed the 2TB?

Same here, had a week off and nothing to do.

Made it to the proud difficulty missions today, The level 120 boss to unlock them was a pain.

Yeah I did that the other day, took a few tries and re-jigging some things around, I was using Id as my main, my other party members weren't fully optimised or ideal either.

Did it quite easily in the end, the DPS check bits were harder with AI party members, think with humans it would have been fine as they'd spam everything, AI just does what AI does.

Fun game just took it as far as I wanted with my AI party, I liked the depth of the combat skills and upgrades a lot. Id was a lot more fun to play as than my original Tav as well, especially once I had unlocked some stuff, his dragon form wrecks things.

In my opinion, the Granblue main campaign was more fun than the FF16 one, and the post-game activities easily doubled the game length, or more if you wanted to delve into the proud difficulty fully.

Fun side fact - Id was voiced in the Japanese audio by Kenjiro Tsuda, who also voiced the main character in the ID:Invaded anime.

Anyone having PSN issues? For the past 2hrs I've been getting a bunch of CE error codes seemingly related to Cloud saves. My internet is ok so I'm not sure what the issue is. The error code number only has one result when I do a search and typically it isn't the most useful.

Edit: Ignore, not sure if I fixed it but I went into Safe Mode and did a rebuilt database. Didn't have an issue for 2hrs of use after that.

Edit: Ok this seems to be account related and I can't work out what as my PS+ doesn't expire till March yet I'm getting "Your subscription to PlayStation®Plus can’t be confirmed”. Upon logging into my sony account online I simply get "Something went wrong". Going to Cloud Saves in settings and checking sync status comes up with "something went wrong". It isn't an internet issue, or my PS+ as the latter checks out fine. I am not sure what it is, though I can still play games ok it seems.

If you own a USB drive you can store your games on it then and then transfer them onto the new SSD.

Yeah cheers. I found a Crucial X8 2TB in my draw so I shifted everything remaining to that and I'll copy them back as you said.
 
Damn don't know what happened on Tekken 8 tonight. I seemed to suddenly be getting matched with everyone miles better than me regardless of rank. I lost about 10 matches in a row and got demoted
 
I finally made it to proud difficulty on Gran Blue Fantasy Relink with Eugen as my main last night. I need to start working on the masteries for the rest of my party.

Looks like PS5 is in the doldrums for a wee bit now. SIE revising their forecast from 25 million sold this fiscal year to 21 million. And no new games from major first party franchises until at least March 31 2025.

I really hope that goes for the original consoles too, I've been after a set for over a year. Absolutely baffling that they haven't been available.
