Another whopper today ... 3kWh. Oh, and the night after we had a power cut, we had ANOTHER power cut. The first one was a fuse, no idea what the second one was but we were sans power for about 3 hours according to the Alpha ESS app. Fortunately it didn't happen until about 2230 so I just went to bed a little earlier than usual. I'm glad my server has a UPS so it can do a clean shutdown. Really should have asked whether our solar batteries would keep us powered ....

I did ask our installer. We have a SMILE-B3-PLUS (10kWh). They said they could add some plug sockets, for about £300 - £400, that the batteries could power in an emergency but it wouldn't power the whole house.

So the rain is meant to be coming today, but the sunshine we've had so far today has already got us up to nearly 5kwh which is nice.

I noticed for expansion this is where strings and inverters get interesting. If I want to add a third string of a few panels on my south roof there may be a variety of ways to do this.

08:00-09:30 = negative pricing and if its sunny I cant take advantage as at that point today I was generating 1,500w at 8am, crossing fingers for crappy morning.
