DnB thread!

This lad is making strides

attended this one in Cambridge, great atmosphere. Best of all free of charge and great seeing stunned public members taking photos etc

I'm not a big DnB fan - but I almost always find 1-2 tunes in Dom Whiting's playlist which can only be aptly described as "fire". (Including Battle of the Beast and Ricochet).

Was listening to a tune early which I was thinking would make for a killer DnB tune with a remix - Out of My Life by Omnimar.

MC Skibadee has died. I'm actually gutted by hearing this news. I always went to raves for the DJ and often saw the MC as a distraction but he was an exception. He was always on the flyers for big nights.

Properly gutted.

I've been really enjoying the Peshay 'History of Drum and Bass' series on Apple Music. He's basically doing double-length mixes for each year from 1992 onwards. Loads of GLR stuff in there, which is very much my thing :)

Not sure if they're available outside Apple Music, but well worth checking out if you were into that scene in the 90s.

Apple only looks like sadly, would have been interested in that maybe. History mixes are often fun.

I just came here to say Telemetrik - My Lightyear album still hits so good still; aggressive, heavy with so many feels. it's been several years which I've listened to this and other neuro, and still sounds as unique as it did then. Makes even a lot of the new neuro sound either timid or simple in comparison.
