Presumably there's a load of support races going on, with sessions outside the scheduled F1 sessions.
Definitely this. I've been to the BTCC at Knockhill a couple of times and it's intense with the load in/out!

  • Session starts
  • Next session starts prepping
  • 5 laps from end next session is queuing in pitlane
  • Session ends
  • Next session released (subject to track being clear)
Mad respect to all the marshalls and track crew on any event day!

Where are F2 and F3 this weekend?

I've just watched the FP1 highlights on YT. Apparently Ocon is out as of the end of the season!

The F2 and F3 don't do all the races; there's actually never been a North American round of F2 or F3 since they were rebranded from GP2/GP3 in 2017

Good old Ferrari back to being Ferrari. Sending out Leclerc out on Inters when the track wasn't declared wet, even though it was raining.. As daft as it sounds, against the rules.

I reckon Jaque is probably a bit of a bell end in real life but he makes a decent pundit, has no chill as well… already wanting ferrrari to have a penalty for mixing leclerc and sainzs tyres lol

Now he’s ripping on Magnussen.

It’s all fair criticism mind you, it’s just his bluntness makes everything seems way saltier than it needs to be !

Have to feel a bit sorry for Doohan not getting any chance today really; but nice to hear him confirming that Kravitz was talking out of his arse as usual about their "chat" on the Monaco pitwall

I like Jacques, he was making all the right comments about Stroll on the F1 Show.

This is looking interesting. Red Bull have lost their air of invincibility.

Yeah, too expensive to fly all around the world like F1 does.

Norris has no further action for his aledged failure to follow race directions

Whilst the driver of Car 4 went off track on the inside of turn 14, he touched theorange kerb and therefore was not required to go around the orange bollard beforerejoining the track. Therefore no infringement occured. It is noted that the driver didnot rejoin the track in an unsafe manner nor did he gain any lasting advantage.

umm? it's FP2 what "lasting advantage" could he possibly have gained?
