Upgrade MB

Dont need speed usb want only more ports :) .. and i saw X670E its with 20 euro cheaper then X870E so i want to want X870E Aorus Elite wifi ... if worth it

Just buy a USB hub!! Why buy motherboard just to get more USB ports?

For high workload devices ie HDD connect to motherboard, but for keyboard, mouse, joysticks etc use a hub. Work out how big a hub you need.

X870 is just B650E with USB4, that's why I mentioned USB4.

X870E is just X670E with USB4.

They also tend to have:
- WIFI7 instead of 6/6E.
- Higher max memory support (though the old boards can have their BIOS updated for this too).

why?

Also convience, a desk mounted hub is far easier to use than reaching around the back of PC for every time you plug into back area.

Unless you have a USB 5.25" front bay which connects to internal USB headers
Because for price or that hub can upgrade mb ... and need a spdif for my soundbar .. also cost if i buy separate souncard why to buy a lots external devices when with that money can upgrade mb and use usb on MB ?

My board i can sell it for 140 , with that usb hub its 220 if i buy sound card with spdif separat its cost at least 100 all around 320 right ? Motherboard cost 320 ....

I have a four port USB3, cost about £15. That's enough where regular discconected items are used,in front of the monitor.

ok with spdif I use that myself but soundbars have hdmi, so if you use hdmi instead that solves issue, and GPU have multiple hdmi out

what i see 9700X compared to 7700 , 9700X have better temps ...
In TPU's review of the 9700X, the gaming number was the same between the 7700 and 9700X, the 7700X was slightly higher. The Blender number was 2 degrees colder on the 9700X (59.1), compared to the 7700 (61.7).

Each to their own but you're really wasting money for no reason here.

If you don't have a 4090 and you've spent €700 on a x870/9700x for the sake of some USB ports and 2 degrees you are beyond helping. :p

i cant find X670E or B650E at low price here where i am , X870E its with 40 euro cheaper than X670E

Ok so i decided to go with intel this time , cpu core 7 ultra 265K , msi z890 tomahawk its ok for this cpu ?
Its the correct socket motherboard if that's what you mean but they are pre order so no one has used them yet.

Cutting edge can sometimes have issues on release and need firmware updates to fix bugs; you might be able to find reviews on youtube etc if they sent samples out but no one on here will have used them.

You might also want to change your RAM to something faster / XMP3 someone else might be able to advise.

Do they ship with a CPU cooler, otherwise thats something else to add to the shopping list?

£300 for a mobo plus £380 for a cpu because you want more USB ports and SPDIF does seem a bit steep if you are otherwise happy with your current setup.

A PCIE USB card and external sound card might be another option, or even an old fashoined USB drive bay if it will fit in your case; but I think you have the upgrade itch and just want something shiny which is fine if its what you want its your money at the end of the day.

If you do go with it maybe post some benches / a review as you will be one of the first on the new socket.
