Ender 5 Pro Upgrade Thread.

Forgot to add, been thinking of this myself but where my printer sits, in a cupboard, theres not much head space - what is the total height with the motors mounted at the top.

Full metal sherpa mini,
Dragonfly BMS
E34M1 toolhead.

all told its about 60cm bottom to just above the extruder. you'll need space for the bowden etc.

Wow, what speed was that at - good work by the way.
I forget what speed that was, I've found that I can get 450mm/s at 10k accel without the table shaking itself to bits.
if I want good looking prints it gets about 350mm/s with 5k accel.
I'm moving next month and it'll be _on the floor_ so with any luck it'll be less prone to getting a resonance with the table when printing!

so I've moved house and now the printers on the floor rather than a wobbly table it's vibration/shake is way better. I'm able to do 550mm/s at closer to 15k accel.
I'm not sure if I'm going to do hydra at this point but I'd like to if only to get a better print bed on here.
I've noticed that I'm getting worse adhesion now I'm in a space that has way more airflow so I'm half tempted to get some kind of enclosure or build something around the table it's under.

if you have to much airflow and first layer is not sticking try increasing your bed temp 5-10*
also cleaning your bed with soapy water sometimes is the easiest option

yeah it's only really an issue with a ******* filament I picked up, tried hotter bed, gets cleaned with IPA etc before most prints.
I'm looking at getting a new bed soon anyway.
