The whole PC scene is a bit mad tbh , I certainly wasn't expecting to sell my 4090 for the amount I paid for it 2 years and 2 months later but as it turns out the £1700 i sold it for was cheap as they ended up going up to £1850 which is more than they were msrp :eek:... while the additional £1000 is a fair chunk of change it is more like £760 extra as i still would have had to put an additional £240 to get the FE . I had a 3090 Strix and they hold their value come resale time which is another reason I went for the Astral... I will still try and snag a FE in the mean time but if no luck will happily keep this :D

That's still around 10% of currently active posters in this thread.

On reddit, it seems to be less than 1%, definitely much worse compared to the 4090 launch. I remember that there was a decent amount of people on reddit who got a 4090 FE at launch.

Don't get me wrong 5090 fe will likely hold value best when you take into account purchase price. But im buying for two years of the benefits more than anything (silent running. little-no coil whine etc). Im a little unsure how well the fe will do this time around with been so focused on small form factor.

I have a big case, for my big chonker to call its home.

I think there's a lot of pre orders in here now. But given we ordered really quickly I can't see it being too long to wait.

They said end of may for my pre order but I really doubt that, I reckon we'll get them middle of March (hopefully even sooner than that though)

Has anybody who's pre-ordered got the confirmation email yet?

EDIT: Also how do I unfollow this thread so I stop getting emails?

that's fair, it's more of a placeholder for now until i get the card that i'm really eyeing (the aorus master ice)
