Afternoon all, saw this thread and thought I'd ask here before making a new thread, what is the go to stress testing for a CPU now a days, that shows max/min idle?

Reason I am asking is I'm going to put a push-pull fan setup on my Cooler Master Hyper 212 as it only has the one currently and wanted to see if the new setup has improved temps :)

I've used coretemp in the past but not sure what has a stress testing option

Thanks!

Another useful tool is Fan Control. As well as setting up custom profiles for all your fans it can also put all sorts of temperatures in the system tray.

PresentMon is another alternative to Afterburner for a gaming overlay, but it has issues displaying CPU temps for more recent Ryzens, so is not really worth it for some users.

I use hwinfo64 because it shows the temps of everything that has a sensor and that's everything on my current build.

I was looking at buying HWInfo64, to support the project and all that, but they want either a yearly sub or a daft price lifetime license. Not happening, shame really.
