I have a Thermaltake P90. I am going to upgrade the 10700K / Z370 to a Ryzen 9800X3D / B650 and want to replace my 8 year old EK Blocks water cooler with a new AIO.

I am going all-white this time.

My case is pretty unique, the radiator goes on the right while the mobo is on the left

Can I just stick this on the right with the tubes coming out of the top and around to the CPU? https://www.overclockers.co.uk/asus...aio-cpu-liquid-cooler-whit-coo-asu-04231.html

I’ve read so many places that the freezer 3 is noisy and worse than the 2. I’m not wedded to this card and that thermalrite looks good I’ll look closely at that one, I do think the one I posted is overpriced.

My main concern is whatever I buy ends up no good because either it doesn’t work with the tubes coming out the top, or the tubes are too short to get around the corner nicely

A good air cooler will cool the 9800X3D fine

That looks interesting. I’m looking to replace my artic freezer 3 with something packing an lcd screen
I’ve the frozen vision (pretty much the same) and it’s as good as the 3 Corsair AIO’s I’ve had previously, and a third of the price.
It’s useful to have to keep an eye on temperatures.

Definitely not solved on this one!

ASUS ROG Ryujin III 360 Extreme ARGB

expensive but looks immense. Again though will those cables reach? I am seeing 40cm which on any "normal" case is fine but with the Thermaltake P90 maybe not.
I really don't want to change my case, the P90 is excellent, but I might be backed into a change, or a custom loop which brings a whole new set of headaches

Is your actual computer specification your huge signature? You're literally crippling your PC performance for aesthetics if so, £200-400 on a cooler while running a 4070 is utterly beyond comprehension for me, especially while running such a dated platform. I realise you stated that you're moving to a 9800X3D earlier but your signature remains the same, it's hard to tell. Does that include the 4070 you're sporting, or are you doing a huge GPU upgrade too? The 9800X3D would run just fine on a £30 air cooler, it's utterly unnecessary to the point almost any "pretty" AIO will be fine.

  • Intel Core i7 8700K
  • Gigabyte Aorus K370 RGB
  • 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro
  • Asus RTX4070
  • WD Black SN850X 2TB Gen4 SSD
  • Samsung 980 Pro M.2 500GB x3
  • WD Black 2TB HDD
  • Thermaltake 750W Toughpower Grand RGB
  • Thermaltake Core P90 TG

Ah no that’s my old spec.

I’m upgrading it to a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 64gb and new board

I don’t mind sending a bit extra for the aesthetic, that’s what the case Iis great for too. The GPU is staying for now, I am gonna see what happens with all these 5x series problems before I look at that, might go AMD next. But that’s a separate conversation.

So ultimately, I want a pretty AIO with tubes long enough for my case. The screens are cool too though :)

End result (and signature updated).

Now just trying to get the damn fan LCDs to be recognised by Windows so I can set them up!

Cheers for the advice everyone.
