This emotional train is so draining…. Geez what’s next msrp is fake and going to cost $800??!??
I'm going with $699 and $599. Don't think AMD give a ****.
Certainly will make some happy in here. AMD making a juicy profit matters!![]()
You really want it to fail don't you lol ? To feel better about the 4070 super is it ? Or is it ti ?
Lame I liked the design and might have been the way to get MSRPthe better Aib cards are just gonna cost more
Maybe board partners can use the reference design and produce identical MBAs? I bought a Sapphire one which was mba but others were sold with different packaging under the Powercolor/ASUS/AsROCK/Gigabyte brandingIt’s a shame I really wanted one. Just from the small pictures we’ve seen I loved the reference design. It’s bizarre not to even make SOME?!
Not at all. If you go back and look i used to cheer AMD on for years and years. All available to see using search. I have had just as many Radeon GPU's also.
I want AMD to do well actually, but feel jaded after years of stupid missteps from AMD.
As AMD waited again for Nvidia to price their cards before releasing I feel it doesn't bode well.
It is also hilarious that people were saying AMD should price it at £400-£500 for the 9070XT (that would be close to 4080 performance) a couple of months ago. Same people now saying £600-£700...
Oh but it is a business, they won't price it much less than nvidia. Who gives a ****. I care about my wallet, not theirs. If said thought they could sell such a card without a loss at that price a few months ago, why can't they sell it now?
But the logical part of the brain suggests 60ti/70 class performance is usually bringing x80/x90 from last gen to mid tier.I don't care for either company, I just want both to be competing closely which hopefully means better value for consumers , I might stretch to £600 if not I won't bother with either but if it's £600 and close to 5070ti yeah I might go for it what other options would have I have ? , I don't think any reasonable person should be expecting £400-£500 if the leaks are true of performance and what Nvidia are offering with 5070ti

AND usually are priced no more than £500.
Just sucks that price creep has made us pay more for this class of gpu.
OMFG DOAWhat a fail, AMD can't be bothered to produce their own card.
Does the fact that there are no MBAs mean there won’t be an iron-clad floor for the msrp? Allowing aibs to price theirs $100-200 (or more!) above? If it ain't MSRP I don't know why people are entertaining these companies
It may have been rumour (Just like 100% of this thread) but elsewhere online. I'm certain it was posted in here though. No otherwise what's the point of this article just being released now
Would be a first tbh for AMD not to provide msrp mba designs. It may have been rumour (Just like 100% of this thread) but elsewhere online. I'm certain it was posted in here though.
Obviously depends on performance. But have we not been saying close to 4080 performance for a few months now? Let's assume 5070 Ti performance.
How much?
It was actually YOU that stated it in post 4,454 on the 28th of Januray. That must have been where I read it fromWould be a first tbh for AMD not to provide msrp mba designs.
I wonder whether pressure from Aibs contributed to this decision.
