*** The AMD RDNA 4 Rumour Mill ***

You really want it to fail don't you lol ? To feel better about the 4070 super is it ? Or is it ti ?

Not at all. If you go back and look i used to cheer AMD on for years and years. All available to see using search. I have had just as many Radeon GPU's also.

I want AMD to do well actually, but feel jaded after years of stupid missteps from AMD.

As AMD waited again for Nvidia to price their cards before releasing I feel it doesn't bode well.

It is also hilarious that people were saying AMD should price it at £400-£500 for the 9070XT (that would be close to 4080 performance) a couple of months ago. Same people now saying £600-£700...

Oh but it is a business, they won't price it much less than nvidia. Who gives a ****. I care about my wallet, not theirs. If said thought they could sell such a card without a loss at that price a few months ago, why can't they sell it now?

It’s a shame I really wanted one. Just from the small pictures we’ve seen I loved the reference design. It’s bizarre not to even make SOME?!
Maybe board partners can use the reference design and produce identical MBAs? I bought a Sapphire one which was mba but others were sold with different packaging under the Powercolor/ASUS/AsROCK/Gigabyte branding

I don't care for either company, I just want both to be competing closely which hopefully means better value for consumers , I might stretch to £600 if not I won't bother with either but if it's £600 and close to 5070ti yeah I might go for it what other options would have I have ? , I don't think any reasonable person should be expecting £400-£500 if the leaks are true of performance and what Nvidia are offering with 5070ti

But the logical part of the brain suggests 60ti/70 class performance is usually bringing x80/x90 from last gen to mid tier.

AND usually are priced no more than £500.

Just sucks that price creep has made us pay more for this class of gpu.

Yeah but neither is happening with either so just have to go with whoever offers the best deal or dont bother at all

Obviously depends on performance. But have we not been saying close to 4080 performance for a few months now? Let's assume 5070 Ti performance.

How much?

I think £600 is a good price for that, its £200 less than the 5070 Ti, or to put it another way the 5070 Ti would be 33% more expensive.
