It's all well and good, but we still have HFC around here and no sign of Fibre. Even then it would only be available to New Customers. It's makes yer teeth ache!![]()

I have mine running in modem mode.Hopefully that means modem mode on 5x gets sorted or we can get an ONT instead. Or a whole new set of customers get to experience the Hub 5x in its current state.
no, the 10gb port is used to access the router/modem only when it is in modem mode. but my home network is all 1Gb and my connection to virgin is 1Gb so its not a limitation for me.Using the 10Gb interface?

It is hidden though ie you can't navigate to the option to turn it on through the Web address you have to use a direct link.
