NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

So a number of the 5090’s including the ZOTAC solids are showing stock ETA 1-2 weeks. Should we be hopeful?
It's weird how OCUK have gotten a bunch of ZOTACs over the last week or so, and that place has basically gotten none? I wonder how they prioritise who gets what first? I feel like next launch (even though it's 2+ years away lol) I'm probably gonna pre order from here if I can as they've cleared the backlog much faster.

Is it not just a price thing? If you take pre-orders at low value you can't buy any inflated stock. If you sell at +a few hundred you can vacuum a bit more up. Pure guessing on my part.

I see a ZOTAC and a Gainward at OcUK, but when I add them to basket, they are out of stock.
Those 3 seconds of hope!

Yeah, don't recall what the prices were from here on launch, but I imagine they'd have been similar. The scalping only occurred after the initial preorders I think lol

So my Gigabyte order at another place from two days ago.
Called yesterday and they stated that it is now a pre-order and coming end of the week / next week.
Then received an email and stated the order will be cancelled and refunded.

This morning the order is still in my orders and payment changed from pending the last 2 days to now processed with todays date.

Seems strange that the money would now be showing as processed rather than pending.

Hmm my credit card says they’ve taken the money, but the statement says it’s being refunded. Think I’ll sit this one out and see what happens, not that I have any choice.

Just checked my statement and states that it was out of stock and refunded on the 4th.
If this was all true why did the customer service advisor state it is now a pre-order, when the system surely would have said it was all refunded.

Which gigabyte?

Not looking good. Order from the Waterforce place 2 days ago seemed to have gone through fine. But got this email in the morning.

I missed out on that Gigabyte drop, I suspect by just seconds. I was actually quite gutted at the time, as the price wasn't bad, but it feels now like I dropped a bullet. I hate situations like this one and it seems this particular competitor can't find its arse with an atlas.

It is very mickey mouse - But still better than other competitors who have taken over 400 pre-orders on cards when after a month haven't cleared more than 10 on any queue.

Someone on Redit:-
Ive just moved from 33rd to 4th in my queue position for 5090 amp extreme. Estimation unchanged, bit worried it'll be pushed back as I didn't fit into that batch.

So if they get some non OC boards in the next two weeks - then I may drop down to the 20s and then be there for another month or two.

It all depends on whether the shipments get more regular now. Yesterday felt like a very "heavy" day for stock drops and quite a few of the queues seem to have moved, some of them by decent chunks. If we get more days like that on a more regular basis, then it's not impossible that all of those 400+ queues are cleared by early summer.

That said, my phone has been alert-free all morning, with even the £3070 Asus failing to do its usual popping in and out of stock.
