I got through checkout and the VISA confirmation thing but then it said OOPS! and went 504... not sure if it went though. I actually got one on a competitor afterwards, I think (unless that also bugged) so I'll need to cancel that other one if it did.
 
well I tried to order from OCUK but it looks like the 9700 launch crashed the site and I never managed to get the 9700XT pages to load.

Luckily managed to successfully order a sapphire nitro+ 9700xt elsewhere.... though now I've paid the order isn't yet showing in my order history.

How pants are tech launches now.

I remember for a decade and a half being able to buy the latest and greatest CPU and GPU side (And better prices)

And everything now is just an absolute crap shoot

All I could see else where were £700-£800 9070XT's in stock that were sold out minutes later

Clown World Launch strikes again.

It really does not have to be like this, even at the individual retailer level. Gibbo was banging on about how even 7900XT/XTX sales were still strong. Surely that tells you that demand for these new cards will be through the roof.
