Don't forget to post pictures of that "brick in a box".I got a 9070xt![]()
I've seen it at £799.99I did see a competitor selling the Reaper 9070XT for £759 as soon as it was released. That website got closed immediately![]()
Exactly my plan. I'm too old to play the silly games required now on launch days!Ah well, come summer they will be begging us to buy this silicon. I predict oversupply, in four months.
AI demand is dropping, Nvidia share price has dropped. Plus the tariff war USA vs China. No one will want Fakewell, due to poor engineering, absurd prices and bad drivers. Early adopters will have their GPU's.
So, roll on summer. I can wait. I got the 7900 XT. Only 20% on average performance gain in raster...with the 9070XT.
you're one of the lucky ones. or else you've been shopping elsewhere. since covid, and maybe even before, ocuk website has been utterly garbage, to the point i've not bought anything of value from them in years (and no longer point people to them for purchases either) - which makes me sad as i'd had years and years of sterling service prior.I've been totally fine no problems -2-3 cards in 5 years on release
Cloudflare has the goods. It's whatever Cloudflare is pointed at that cannot handle the load. This type of situation is when using a big cloud host is good. You can scale for big events. You either do that or setup a waiting-room/queue system. Cloudflare supports it, but obviously OCUK isn't using it.Cloudflare waiting room is back up![]()

'Maximum weight exceeded' means it is Out of Stock.Mine finally took payment a few minutes ago but then says 'maximum wieght exceeded' in red on the screen. No order confirmation. and can't even get to the order history since the website is constantly timing out. What a joke.

If I'm honest, it's the limited MSRP think that probably rankles me the most. I was largely expecting the website ******** driven by a demand far outstripping the (great) supply - after all, it didn't take a genius to see the current dearth in the (worldwide) GPU market. For me it would have been better to set a realistic price and have stuck to it, rather than tosspot around with these limited subsidies. Obviously they tried to fudge the MSRP to colour the reviews so that it was more favourable at that price point, but overall I just think it has generated a lot of bad feeling and has done them absolutely no favours.
