Tabletop Warhammer?

Bit more progress on Lord Felthius And The Tainted Cohort,, bits to tidy like the gun, but enjoyed painting these, a lot (also another 2 flesh tearer terminators)

Do any of you use a Dremel or similar multi tool when cleaning up models or terrain?

I was going to use a knife and files as needed, but I've just found a couple of dremels that look like they could also do the job.

I won't be able to try it out anytime soon since there's no space to work, but I can set the tools aside for later if they are worth using.

Edit - search is my friend. Looks like the Dremel might be too bulky so I'll put them out of the way and revisit it if I get fed up with the knife or fancy a change.

You probably found it but that was what my landraider picture was about in regards to DSPIA grinding pen.


@kindai Old scheme apparently but it's tempting me as I have coloured metallics..

Almost at a point now where I’m happy to progress the scheme of the BT onwards to batch painting. Apart from the colour of the aquillas. 100% want red gun casings and chain swords. Would love to paint a few swords as power swords but plain steel is so much better looking for BT’s

I like a mix of retro/Blanchitsu.

I really wish I had not watched that Youtube video, ordered 12 colours of the Scale 75 metal alchemy paints plus the Vallejo metal colour duraluminium paint this afternoon ;)
 
Made a start on my fire dragons.


Some of the bits to black out are tricky but I might just ignore them because I can't see them unless I look up inside the model.

Oh and new inks for some stuff I want to try. I got a lot of fluorescent stuff en route.

That’s ones fabulous order :D

That cleaning kit has enough to get you started if it’s the standard spray cup, needle thing and a few pipe brushes.
At a later stage I can recommend the H&S service kit. Better quality tools, brushes and seals.

Also pick up some dental brushes. They very handy for cleaning.

You'll have them assembled and painted before I've decided on a colour scheme.

Just got shipping Confirmation :cool:

Also received a bag of 10x bases today from GW. In a box that could have fitted about 50 bags.

My EC is arriving Saturday so probably won't do any assembly until Sunday as I'm playing 40K Sat.
