Re-using LED light strips.

I have a govee RGB light strip, I recent took it off my tv, and the sticky stuff has lost its stickyness and gots all sorts of bits on it.

Is there anyway I can re use them?

Is the cheaper stuff just as good, there is a plain white role but much cheaper

I’ve only used similar to what I’ve posted, but no reason why the cheaper stuff won’t work.
LED strips aren’t exactly heavy.

Did you have to thoroughly clean the strips prior to using the new tape?

Might be worth trying to find some double sided tape that is the correct width. Otherwise really annoying trimming will have to take place. But otherwise I wouldn't be removing the old stuff (if you even can without destroying the strips).
