The Radeon RX9070XT / RX9070 Owners Thread

Nope I try looking for best price tbf, no nitro wasn't but that's what I'm saying I don't think 150 over MSRP cards when purchased is worth it, but that's my take. Many would disagree.
Aesthetically it is nicer n I love the power cable hide away
And if you miss it at the best price, like all but a handful of people did this time around you never buy it?
What if it gets cheaper after you bought it?

such as life i guess, as in time everything falls in price, well pretty much everything.
im 56yrs, so been at this game for donkeys, and tbh this is most expensive card i have bought at £569. but as a oldie i dont see the value in paying top dollar for higher end models, yes they generally look better and perform better, well slighlty. last new card i bought was vega 56 from oc and a week later flashed a 64 bios on it, now that was value:D

Gigabyte Gaming OC 9070 (non XT)
-170mv Undervolt
+500 Core
2870 Vram
+10% Power

My CPU gets a lower score than others as it's power limited (work rig)

I guess that's how I'm starting to look at this AMD release. Can't get them at MSRP any more, but such is life.
While £150 more for a Nitro+ is annoying, at least it's the top end card with a higher TDP. Almost feels worse to pay £80 (or £60 before) to get the exact same card that was available for £569. At least the Nitro+ offers something more for the extra money.

I'm not sure we'll ever see those good ol' days again. *shakes fist at cloud*

that graphics score seems a bit low for the UV etc, maybe cause its a works pc? that UV should produce a better gpu score
i had -140mv +420mhz 2850mhz for graphics 31936.

Should the Asrock Steel Legend 9070 XT come with an ARGB cable? I have a new build with an Asus Rog Strix B650E-I Mobo and can’t seem to locate a ARGB cable anywhere. Never built a computer before so not sure if that would have been something I should have bought separately or if I’m just misplacing it. If I need to buy one separately I guess I’ll order one of those sometime later as well…
Nah, they don't usually come with one - but it's more about having the port in case you wanted to hook it up to your mobo to sync lighting. Usually motherboards have them in the accessories box, I got 2 with my Z890 Taichi Light - although I did just immediately switch off the RGB on the card via the switch...

Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Originally i thought the Core offset did nothing but it does add a little extra to the score.

9070 XT Nitro+:
Core +400
Mem 2700
UV -175mv
Power +10%

Timespy:

Overall Score: 31437
GPU Score: 33875
CPU Score: 22333

Happy with that.

true, but it's not £569 anymore is it.. and the question was about now....so , with the msrp cards being £660 now, is the nitro+ worth the extra £60 at £720.... forget £150...that doesn't exist anymore...we're talking now, not in the past, as I've not yet managed time travel outside of a game, or the future as I can't play a game with fresh air now...£60 for a premium finished card which is a beast and faster than standard is worth it imho
I may be biased though seeing as I have one  but I had the same proposition at the time...the difference between the pulse and nitro was $55 or £42.60...for me that was a bit of a no brainer...pretty sure come sale time I'll get more for my nitro than if i had a pulse, which will make some of that price difference back
if i could have got the pulse at £569, sure....still would buy it at that price for my kids...but that's not going to happen soon I think

Well my Haribo arrived today, oh and the included Nitro+, so I've joined the family.
The downside is my system rebuild isn't going to happen for a month or two so it's very likely to stay in the box until then!

Maybe I'll try and play Wukong in the interim so I completely dodge the worst case scenario :D

Can you change the ARGB lighting? I haven't managed to despite it being plugged into a working ARGB socket.
have you used sapphire trixx software...once you do you can use the presets or make you own colour, or there is a button the link , so then just gets controlled with armory crate on my asus board(which does my board and cooler)
