Sales have definitely slowed down with this pricing. There has been plenty of cards available from all the retailers. I think we might actually get MSRP by the summer. I'm holding out, I want a new GPU but I don't need one and it ruins the excitement when you know you have been bent over on the price.

Something very similar went through my mind last 10 days lmao.
I had a “frivolous me” and “sensible me” perched on each shoulder giving me advice and I gave into “frivolous me” only to have “sensible me” pull me back into reality.

Indeed. Best not get caught up in it and end up paying a non sensical price.
If I wanted to spend £700+ for this kind of performance, I would have bought a 4070 ti super/4080/7900xtx last year. I didn't want to then,and still don't want to now

Gibbo has been keeping this thread advised of impending stock drops since the 6th.
Think of the scalpers! At least Nvidia will keep them happy.

I don't get that when you can easily pick up a pure 9070xt OC for £630.
Mine felt like a toy. I was initially disappointed that it was dead out of the box, but then that gave me an opportunity to buy a nicer card.
It could be itx builds, it's the smallest two slot card.
I did wonder if it was yourself that said it, Which card did you opt for in the end?

As the Pure and Pulse seem to be the same card, I can't fault my Pulse 9070 XT either.
...I've got a reaper, don't really see a problem with the build quality but I'm coming from a Gainward 4070S Ghost and a Gigabyte Wind force 1070Ti prior to that. Absolutely nothing wrong with any of those cards as far as I'm concerned
I suspect that AIB are overbuilding and speccing to a certain level to make their prices more palatable. And once you get used to it, more basic models can seem insubstantial or toy like
