For me, it was either of the Haas drivers tbh. Ocon and Bearman both did a great job.

Yep, Ocon in 7th is the stand out performance today.

Gave it a 5. The definition of "mid".
Bearman for me for the overtakes he'd done in later parts of the race to get into points. Not sure why it was Kimi, didnt even see him in the race lol.

God this track is awful.
I thought Kimi had a pretty ordinary race, much slower than Russell, couldn't pass other cars, and got passed by Hadjar.
Decent enough race, 7 out of 10 for me. Tactically interesting and some battles over the upper points places. Well done, Piastri. Haas' will be very happy, Sauber nowhere. Doohan gets a second penalty in the same weekend.

The track is fine and is well suited to f1 cars, it just played out poorly this time, that’s the way it goes. No track guarantees good racing in F1.

Yeah bearing in mind there was no SC or rain I think there was enough entertainment here. Fizzled out a bit, I guess because everyone wanted to make the one stop work.
I thought I heard multi 21 there too, who said it Lando?

Pirelli made great tyres when they first came in, under the request from F1 to make them exciting. I remember Martin Brundle saying early on saying "I love these new tyres, races are exciting again and drivers can push"
Teams ran them like tyres of old and pushed them beyond the limits despite Pirelli saying dont, causing races which had a lot of tyre blow outs.
The teams then cried, Pirelli were forced to back down and then made massively more conservative tyres which would last forever. Pirelli themselves have been mandating increased pressures all this weekend to combat the increased tyre deg due to the new track surface.
In turn that created the one stop possible and all the teams/drivers saying "Lol we didn't expect that to happen after friday running"
It doesn't help that the F1 rules and regs require so much realiability. Which means the drivers will do one "Oh my god look at the speed" lap in Qualifying and then spend Sunday trundling around 6-7 seconds a lap slower. In turn that just aides tyre management and eeking out the life.
My take from my bite/wahhh? Bring back refuelling
