I'm very much of the opinion that if you're buying an MG, looks are probably lower down the priority list.

I don’t notice it on born unless the seats are folded downDoes anyone notice inverter whine from their EV? My Astra is a PHEV but when running it in electric mode the high pitched whine from, I assume, the inverted is quite noticeable at times and silent at others.
I can't say that it particularly bothers me but I was just interested to hear if others do it.
never heard it with my ipace or my i3.Does anyone notice inverter whine from their EV? My Astra is a PHEV but when running it in electric mode the high pitched whine from, I assume, the inverted is quite noticeable at times and silent at others.

New MG4 Electric Hatch Draws Inspiration From Cyberster | Carscoops
The new MG4 will initially feature a 161 hp electric motor powering the front wheels and is lighter than its predecessorwww.carscoops.com
neither the MG 4 (hatchback), 5 (estate) or cyberster (roadster) are SUVs :/Its SUV way or the highway, for MG in the UK, an updated right hand drive mg4 wouldn't have the sales.

by the looks of it the new MG4 not coming here is bigger than our one.
which is precisely my point..... i am not gonna debate where the cut off is for SUV vs hatchback (because i have no idea... in my mind a 1.5 diesel nissan QQ with 2WD is not a sports utility vehicle but the market disagrees with me)This makes it 108 mm (4.2 inches) longer, 6 mm (0.2 inches) wider, and 35 mm (1.3 inches) taller than the first-gen, while the wheelbase has grown by 45 mm (1.7 inches).
on the bright side... will be a superb car for someone looking to get an affordable 2nd hand EV once the lease is up.How's this for crazy, my current lease vehicle is a Nissan Leaf (23 plate) - list price/P11D value of £31,130
Motorway reckons, with <6k miles... £11k!
3.5 year old Taycan's now cost £36000, bargain!?which is precisely my point..... i am not gonna debate where the cut off is for SUV vs hatchback (because i have no idea... in my mind a 1.5 diesel nissan QQ with 2WD is not a sports utility vehicle but the market disagrees with me)
but just that the new MG4 not coming to our shores is probably more of an SUV than our model..... which is at odds with jpaul's statement.
