OcUK GUIDE TO ORDERING YOUR AMD 9070 GRAPHICS CARD TODAY AT 14:00

It’s available elsewhere on preorder for May or sooner depending for £680 odd. Depends if £40 is worth saving for 2 months less pleasure.
I saw that as well, but £680 still has me on the fence. I was hoping with the Sapphire shipment arriving this week that Gibbo mentioned prices might start to go down, but maybe its still too soon. I'm not actually sure what MSRP would be for a higher tier card like the Nitro+.

Not sure either. Some have said it won’t go below £670 but £100 over msrp is a bit much for a 9% overclocked version.

It’s around £699 deals might see it down to £679 and maybe come Black Friday if supply is huge and Sapphire want to make a deal maybe £649 but based on present cost and supply expect £689 - £749

I had a May preorder from there arrive last week, so it will more than likely come much sooner.
I've still got my revised end of April date so hoping for some movement in the next week or two (hopefully).

To be honest, if it got cancelled for whatever reason, I don't think I would be worried. The itch for an upgrade has worn off a bit. Perhaps lack of time and not being home much to enjoy some relaxation has taken the sheen off.

Bllaaacckk Friddayy!? I'll be over Navi48 by then, I think most would be.

Not slating this predication, probably on the money, didn't see much slide on Navi31 first year or so.

MSRP for the Nitro+ is $719 + Tax, so basically just under the £700 mark here in the UK. For comparison MSRP of the 5070 Ti is $749 and they go for £729 here.

The cheapest 5070 Ti I can see on OCUK is £799

There were several hundred bottom tier MSI cooler version elsewhere recently for £729. Still going to be faster than a £700 9070XT at RT and path and added Nvidia feature set but have to put up with lots of fan noise and coil whine probably so won’t be good for some.

Yes, how the tables have turned haha.
Although if you read hotukdeals and other forums, AMD only release a driver once a year apparently haha, despite having released 2 in the space of 3 weeks.
Nvidia is kinda like Apple- peoples' ignorant/blindly buying their products is part of the biggest contributing factor to their success
