It's honestly crazy.
I went with them for 3000 series and they seemed okay. For 3000 series they offered me an upgrade for a small price jump. (They offered a discount on the higher end model too) It was a no brainer so I took it. They've thrown everything out the window now apparently.

This time round they asked if we wanted to jump to the amp extreme card at £909. No discount nothing. And still charging more than OCUK (who had the amp extreme for £889 in stock). Bearing in mind the model we selected was £789

They should be ashamed. Absolute scammers.

Whelp, reached out to OCUK, and reached out to DPD... Neither have a Scoobie why the Zotac 5090 I bought reached my local depot yesterday, then was promptly shipped back to OCUK. Shopping damage? Stolen? OCUK had second thoughts and wanted to keep an extra 5090 in their warehouse? Anyone's guess at this point.

Been asked by OCUK to wait until they get it back, then reship or replace it. End result: I'm now stuck here without a very expensive card I paid for.

Does sound like it's either got damaged in shipping or the contents have been stolen and rather than deliver you an empty box / damaged item are returning it to the shipper ( OCUK ) to put in a claim , can't think of any other reason why it would be turned around mid shipment :confused:

Annoying but at least you are all covered and will still get your card .

Even more plot twist: Turns out that I am everyones DPD driver when things go missing, damaged, empty box...

;)

You would think rather than have OCUK packaging tape you would have plain brown tape or clear tape. Put OCUK on the stick tape then oopsie I don't know where it's gone ;)

Forget your bases, All your GPU's belong to us!!!!!!!

On a different but related graphic cards topic I went to check out the Astral it is legit besides one major flag. When I asked him about the invoice he said he didn't have one and when I asked where did he get it from so I could chase it up he declined to answer so I declined to buy. But it was at a semi decent price.

You're not kidding, I bought a Godlike in December and they then brought out a promotion end of January ish saying you get this game or something monetary 70ish quid or something for buying one. Alas early adopters got shafted
