*** The Official Nintendo Switch 2 ***

Solid but has the issues that everyone else has had in leaving the old gen behind.

No 3D Mario :(

It is what we all thought it would be the Switch 2.

That pricing has killed it a bit for me. I would probably have bit if they had a new 3D mario at launch but I will likely hold out and go second hand.

Sure was a lot of ports of stuff I've already played. I'll still be getting one though. It'll just be a Mario Kart machine for a while.

I'd like to see more 3rd party stuff (and I expect we will soon) - especially the rumoured Microsoft games (although I'd expect them to announce that themselves).

I'd also like to see more about the performance of non-upgraded games on the new hardware, ie do they launch quicker, etc.

I feel MS will use their June event (whatever they replaced E3 with) to talk up S2 integration just ahead of launch.

Lol have you lost track of time ?

When the switch 1 came out I could buy a Starbucks coffee £2... It's closer to £5 now

Switch1 was like 8 years ago !

The OLED Switch is £309 vs the launch Switch at £280. Thats a 10% bump for an upgrade over the 8 years.

Electronics haven't increased in price by 40%. The iPhone hasn't increased in price by 40%. The PS5 was £449 at launch or cheaper if you wanted to digital.

Nintendo are just pricing it high because they know they will sell like hotcakes regardless. They are going to be making bank on the hardware as well as the games.
