Nice setup/colour scheme

Have you tried the extra fan on the 5090? Does it screw in or clip on?
Thanks - I think I might change up the scheme for a blue / beige look for spring/summer, but it's working for me right now.

I have not tried the extra fan on the 5090 (or 5080). The card already gets a bit close to the AIO tubes do I didn't fancy rerouting them to attach it, plus managing a non-Lian Li fan when everything is dialled in via L Connect and having to find a spare and accessible fan header was unappealing. If I had a spare SL INF fan I might have added it, but I only have a spare TL, which needs a different controller so too much hassle.

Also, the card is cool and quiet (relatively speaking) so a 4th fan seemed a bit pointless? I haven't even bothered switching to the quiet VBIOS. That's versus the (gorgeous) Astral 5090 I briefly had, where the rear fan seemed to add quite a lot of noise (even with quiet VBIOS and an updated VBIOS) without obviously improving temps.

The attachment mechanism is a rubber shroud that pokes into some holes on the backplate so 'clip on' rather than screw.

Wow! How did you manage to snag both cards? Congrats

I actually haven't found it too hard to pick up cards - just from using the HotStock app, plus my own religious checking of bookmarked pages for the cards I wanted.

The 5080 Aorus was obtained for its original MSRP from a high street retailer and the 5090 was a marked-up purchase from one of the usual etail suspects.

Nice! A nice undervolt should do nicely.

5090 FE arrived today! Very impressed with it's design and feel so far :)

Feels a bit small in my O11D EVO XL, though once I've thoroughly tested it, I'll be moving it to a O11 Air mini so it's portable as I travel this year.

Update, moved my 5090FE to a O11 Air mini as I need it portable for when I travel this year. 5090FE looks much better in a smaller case IMO!

Temperatures and noise actually improved in the smaller case, no doubt due to the case fans being closer to the GPU and directly blowing onto it.

@IT Troll I tried changing the CPU heatsink orientation to match the GPU - this leD to higher CPU temperatures and the same GPU temperatures, so I went back to stock orientation.

Hey, do you feel like it needs a GPU anti sag bracket? Going to install mine in soon and it feels decently heavy
