I don't think the US are going to defend Taiwan, especially under Trump, who thinks all his allies owe him something.lol if Taiwan thinks the $100 billion bribe is going to make Trump save them when China attacks
And to sweeten the news; here is China practicing landings with its new barge ships
Chinese ‘invasion barges’ spotted on drills for first time
Chinese “D-Day style” barges have been spotted practising what appear to be amphibious landings in the South China Sea.www.yahoo.com
The US hasn't said anything about Chinese ships sailing near the Australian coast.

The US don’t want a war with modern China, they’d lose too much.
Quite a lot of devices like generic brand mini PCs have similar functionality/vulnerabilities some may or may not be intentional. A few things like travel routers have a weird time server functionality which could be used to send remote commands.
The US is going backwards.
I'd assume every app on your phone is trying to track you some way.
I remember 10-20 years ago there were talk of kettles and stuff that secretly call home.

Ah yeah, saw video of those some time back. Impressive but absolutely huge, expensive sitting ducks. It’ll either be genius or a total disaster as they get ripped up by missiles, drones etc.
What are we looking at here? Are they meant to dock and unload loads of stuff to invade or something? A floating bridge? That'll take absolutely ages to line up and sort itself out, by that time a few rockets will have turned them in to dust!
I think something similar to the Mulberry harbours in the allied invasion of Europe after D-day. So for use after the initial invasion.
Probably an awful lot.

Yep, these will likely only come into play once the amphibious landing has been complete and they've secured a beachhead after a massive missile, drone & air campaign, much like D-Day
