NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

@JustHappy yeah ordered this morning. Obviously, forum rules apply so I won’t be specific (@Lyorian ) :)

What I will say though was that I had it in my basket from yesterday and I just absently minded checked to see whether I could order… I could.

I think you may be able to order from a saved item basket before stock is even listen on a website.

So if you get something you want in your basket… keep it in there!

@crashvoodoo what you say here confirms my theory.

Thanks for this mate. I hope it works out better than the Suprim.

Nice, sadly I'd removed that from my basket late yesterday in prep for a possible drop today. Wish I'd left it there to test that theory

It’s something you can keep in mind for next time at least.

I guess what we can speculate is that if I was able to order today… they may have stock logged in their systems in readiness for a drop.

There is also the possibility that there was a glitch in the matrix and I’ll get a cancellation…! But I’ve had my order confirmed and receipt so… who knows.

@Nitefly hopefully no unbearable coil whine this time mate :D

As I bought mine from auction site, if it had ridiculously bad coil whine I probably would have considered my place on this planet given how much I spent on it. Though I have registered it for warranty now, so likely would have been fine.

… yeah I’m praying that the GPU gods will have mercy :o :p
Quite unlucky really with the Suprim being he coolest/quietest that you’re having to change to an Astral, so far known for loudness coil whine is a b! Hope the cards bios update does actually deter the sound and not affect cooling

I think @Varys mentioned his Astral was quiet so I’m thinking it’s just a lottery… higher chance of it being a dud, I know.

I think Hardware Unboxed did a head to head between the Suprim SOC and Aorus Master and the Aorus Master came out on top for both noise and temps. The Suprim is still an excellent choice regardless.

AM would probably be my first choice if I didn’t prefer Suprim Aesthetics much more
That is literally my exact order of preference. I like the aggressive look of the Suprim and the performance between the Suprim and Aorus Master are close enough to not really make that much of a difference in normal every day use.

I can't stand the flashing rings of doom (tm) on Gigabytes. Only place I want flashing is in a strip club.
