Wasn't it just a case the market was closed for some of the stocks when you hit buy?Warning!
Something I didn't realise, and why I'm glad i only put £2K in last night - £1k in VRWP and £1k in VEUA....
My 'Buys' didnt go in when I hit 'Buy', they went in later (after the slight re-bound) - I guess with ETFs they only buy at certain intervals, or is it T212 that only buy at certain intervals??
So I'm down about £53 on a £2000 investment... and counting ETFs are not for trying to buy in little dips/day trading!!!!

yup.. market is closed, it tells you usually before pressing buy that X will be bought at opening rate when ever it opens.Ahh maybe, that would make sense - it's my first time buying ETF!
I got burned during the pandemic with that approach.A red day, but is it a buy day?

Always be careful of this unless you check the overnight \ out of hours trades. I also got stung by this on my early trades after covid.Ahh maybe, that would make sense - it's my first time buying ETF!
wait for the tweetChin up, hopefully it will still be worth £1900 by end of day.
I've also had problems selling when a share is spiking. Was using HL & just got messages telling me it was unable to get a price & by the time I did get a chance to sell, it had already dipped considerably.Ahh maybe, that would make sense - it's my first time buying ETF!
Airlines and Cinemas under a pandemic was always risky, Netflix and Amazon was the way to goI got burned during the pandemic with that approach.
I piled into several stocks that fell off the proverbial cliff on the basis of "this'll all be over in a couple of months & I'll make a killing".
One example is EasyJet - I think it was trading around £8-£9 pre pandemic and had dropped 20% when I bought. It subsequently fell below £3 over the following 18 months & to date don't think it has even made it back to £6.
Worst of all was Cineworld. Well, let's just not go there - it's no longer trading & I lost everything.
Fortunately, I was only in for relatively small amounts & other stocks in my portfolio counterbalanced the losses but I ended up cashing in and putting the money towards my mortgage instead.

Yeah I've been getting too obsessed hitting t212 as soon as I get home , trading on the toilet , trading if I wake up early hours (24/5) think I need a break ,leave my long terms to fester (err I mean grow)
