** Kingdom Come : Deliverance 2 **

Started the first one a couple months ago then got to a DLC part (woman's lot) and it bored me so haven't touched it since. But the love KC2 gets might make either skip 1 or grin and bear woman's lot and get back to the main story.

Edit: never completed Witcher 1 but did complete 2 and 3 and it didn't dampen the story or affect my enjoyment.

Or just reload a save to before you started Woman's Lot? I assume you are talking about the Theresa part of it.
Or you can just get through it, it is not that long (5 hours or so).

Not played for a week or so. Finally got some time today. I am interrogating von bergov.

Looking to finish this one now I think. Slightly losing interest. Story is not as strong towards the end I think. The first one was better in that regard imo. But could be because of me not being able to play consistently.

I am gonna disagree with that. The part of the game starting with Italian Job is my favourite part of the game narratively, there are scenes in it that rival the best movies. You are not there yet I think.

Also, hardcore mode and 1.3 coming on tuesday

I think you are mad, the story is excellent towards the end in particular. The problem most of us have is we get diverted with the miriad of side quests and forget to move it along consistently!

Some of the best scenes in any game IMHO come near the end of KCD2 !

Turns out i am not as close to the end as I thought. Which is great news as the last couple of main missions I did i felt were not as strong.

But as I mentioned, it could also be because of leaving big gaps between playing.

Where are you in the game now?

I recently finished the Exodus mission.

Detailed analysis of the KCD2's commercial performance

Alinea estimates show that Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has now sold over 2.75 million copies – 68% on Steam, 21% on PS5, and 11% on Xbox consoles.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will sell millions more in the years to come. Without a price drop, KCD2 still sells tens of thousands of copies a week on Steam alone months after launch. So it’s well on the way to three million copies sold across all platforms and $100 million in revenues across Steam.

For now, here are some more high-level stats (as of April 10):

Gross revenue on Steam: $93.4M (over 2X the budget)
Steam concurrent player peak: 256.2K
Peak concurrent Twitch viewers: 462,062
Steam wishlist Balance: 3,111,808

That last metric is important, as when KCD2 goes on sale, wishlisters get notified. Across 275K+ games, our data shows just how many extra copies get sold when games go on sale.

Also, you UKers need to step up. Even our 7 times smaller Czechland is doing better :p

Which countries is Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 most popular in?

Our data covers 100+ countries.
To that end, our data shows that over a fifth of the game’s revenues came from China, perhaps explaining why other numbers out there in the market are so off.
Here are Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s top markets for Steam players:
  • US: 24.0%
  • China: 21.3%
  • Germany: 6.4%
  • Czechia: 5.4%
  • UK: 3.4%
