Quite exciting to see what we can do in the transfer window this summer, hopefully after cup success and possibly a champions league qualification we can add a CM, right winger and a CB.
Having Botman back properly will be like a new signing. Hearing rumours that should the mackems not go up we'll be getting Rigg.
Definitely not overly thrilled with those, particularly Simons that seems like the most realistic link. Thought Liam Delap looked good in the first half of the season, in what is clearly a struggling side, but I don't think he's the required step up that we need from the likes of Jota or Nunez.

Earls did say we are in a position to spend again after having to front load our transfers at the start of the takeover.

What don't you like about Simons? He's just about to turn 22, plays in multiple positions and chips in with more than his fair share of goals and assists. If another forward (on top of Nunez) or Elliott leaves, which wouldn't be a surprise, I think he'd be a great replacement as flexible attacking mid/forward.
It's going to be a fascinating summer for us because I think there's going be a lot of business done, with a lot of players futures up in the air. We're going to sign a RB, LB and forward with Trent, one of the LB's and Nunez leaving. I'm not sure how much more they'll get done this summer but I suspect between now and summer 2026 Gomez, Endo, Elliott, Diaz & Jota are all replaced too. Gut feeling we sign a RB, LB, CB and two forwards this summer.
He's just a whiney little runt that winds me up, always moaning and looks like he's about to burst out crying any minute, I know he's a decent player but I just don't want that type at the club
I can't say I've noticed that but then again I've not watched a massive amount of him either. I suspect the types of forwards we're going to be in for might rule him out anyway. I think Slot wants a CF that's hold onto the ball and link play more and more pace, directness out wide. Basically a younger Firmino and Mane.

Hope not. He was class for us last season with our injury crisis and he’s been unlucky with his own injury this season. Would be a shame to lose him before he’s had a chance to get into his stride and we’re going to need strength in depth if we want to compete domestically and in Europe.
