It is great to see the process, Goobertown has done a couple like that too.Have you ever wondered how our addiction to plastic is manufactured, found the video really interesting especially the terrain at the end of the video.

2000pt game last night, my marines vs blood angels. Long and short of it was I had wiped him by turn 3 and achieved all of my secondaries as well as holding my home objective and keeping him off 2/3 of the mid-field.
He got too greedy too early and also crucially didn't put enough in reserve.
Oh, wow!I've had that on a few but I think all from the first wave which were apparently overfilled.
Made great progress (for me) on these lads none of them finished, the wardog with the green eye is farthest along, I think I'm gonna use oil wash on a few to see how I do there. A few things, firstly I've gone too far now if I want to magnetise the other weapon options on the Dominus/Tyrant, the only way I could do it now is by buying the arm joint and armour panel, and then not ever glue the top on which is perfectly doable/workable.
My other thought it the Dominus/Tyrant is too much orange, I couldn't work out another colour to put on the lower leg panel so I'm thinking I will just put quite a lot of decals over it, maybe look online for some general chaos ones etc. Going forward, I want them to all be one cohesive thing but I think I'll paint additional ones a contrasting colour, maybe even have some totally on their own colour to mix it up a bit.
I've used TTC Doom Metal for all the trim, unsure (if I even do it) how I'd edge highlight that, maybe a darker silver like iron hands.
I've not really got the hang of glowing effects at all as you can see by these attempts on the exhaust holes but I think I did well on the eye with a small attempt at OSL.

Oh, wow!
I am relatively new to this sub... and now I feel like I have no right to be here!![]()
I think I fall into the "all the gear and no idea" bucket.Of course you do. Most important thing I learned was compare yourself to your previous attempts at painting, not what others can do. People on here are always happy to give help and advice, it's one of the least toxic hobbies I know of.
Don’t worry I have painted the same set of space wolves for the past 3 years!!I think I fall into the "all the gear and no idea" bucket.
I've just started painting miniatures with a view to starting (slowly) a Grey Knights army, but it has been about 35 years since I held a paint brush that wasn't used for a wall...
So obviously I had to buy an air brush, too.
One of those factions that people love to dunk on but secretly want to buy and paint an armyI remember painting the classic metal versions of those SW characters for my brother back in the day. I have quite fond of the wolf fur everywhere look.
