It's too hot :(

My usual just over hour of walking to and from the supermarket wasn't too pleasant in this heat , I rather do it in the cold and rain lol and it's quieter

Yep we often get a free bottle when we do a new flavour, at Xmas quite a few bottles in a goodie bag , I prefer just dry though tbh
My mate and his parents both worked at Gordon's Gin. They used to get one bottle per year of service at xmas. Towards the end, his parents had done 30+ years each and he had done almost 10 years. Not sure what to do with 70 bottles of Gin, lol

They did also used to get alcoholism treatment.

Lounge thermometer read 29.6C a few minutes ago before opening window, bit cooler outside at approx 24C now (bit warmer earlier)... Windows opened, lovely breeze incoming!

It is the lack of cool breeze in central Bristol that I find unbearable. I will adjust to the heat but the 10 degree jump ina few days is too quick. Will feel chilly again when it drops to 15 on Saturday

it is unusually cool in my son's hospital room, which is a blessing for him, they must have started running aircon in the ward corridor.

the chavs in the next street have become garden chavs
here comes a night of drunk shouting adults and squealing kids

Buy some bird seed and generously surround the cars of your neighbours visitors with it once the party starts.

Tongue in cheek but people like that tend not to realise they're being an annoyance/nuisance, especially those with kids. It's fine within reason if you live on a family orientated estate/area but there comes a point, have you tried talking to them about it?

it's alright it's got dark and they've gone inside, it isn't proper summer yet :)

Be glad you're not the poor sod living next door to them.

I briefly lived a few doors down from a couple that were into garden parties, it'd often get loud and the screaming kids were worse again. The worst was a particular friend that would cackle, and her "laugh" could be heard for miles I swear, she was infamous in the street.

It took my visiting and actually speaking to them about it for them to understand how irritatingly over the top they were, and it toned down substantially after the fact. (No I wasn't all guns blazing or an ass)

It's amazing what a simple discussion can achieve. If you want something, speak to them. Doesn't matter what it is. Silence, peace, anal, you name it.

I think a lot of young people, especially first time buyers, get caught up in their lives and don't understand the impact they have on others around them.

Granted, I sometimes wonder about the marquee tent the neighbours in question set up in the back garden two bedroom semi-detached ex council house they'd bought and their oft' lost car keys.
